Votsalakia is situated in the south west of Samos. Its a very peaceful place. There is a beach approximately 3 kilometers long, mostly sandy but here and there with the small round stones so typical for many of the Greek islands. Above the beach you find a street lined with restaurants serving traditional Greek food and also international dishes that many turists ask for.

The environment is beautiful and invites you to walks in pinewoods and fields with sheep, fruittrees, lemon- and olive groves. Three kilometers from Votsalakia is the beautiful shallow sandy beach Psili Amos.
